FLOX TAKES FLIGHT
The annual "Rare Taste" series celebrates the arrival of the new vintage of the winery’s signature sauvignon blanc each year. The concept behind “Rare Taste” comes from the fact that Cloudy Bay is in incredibly high demand in the large U.S.market, and therefore not as widely available as some other New Zealand sauvignon blancs. Consumers may have to spend a little effort to get their Cloudy Bay but are rewarded with a unique purity and depth of flavour.
The theme extends through to the artwork brief, where Hayley King aka Flox, will create two very unique "floxy style" pieces depicting two rare U.S birds, both on the top 10 endangered list. The works will be auctioned with proceeds going towards an environmental charity.
